VCI Bags
VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor)
A mixture of special chemicals that constantly vaporize and create gases which have anti – corrosion properties. These vapors form a very thin protective film layer around the metal surface and prevent the metal from the corrosion action.
Shrink Wrap Packaging
Shrink Wrap bag are used with a heat sealer and a heat gun. Insert products within the bag and seal the open end of the bag. Once sealed, use the heat gun to apply heat to the bag causing it to shrink and conform to the interior products.
The four most common materials shrink wrap is made from PVC, polyolefin, polyethylene, and polypropylene. Polyethylene and polypropylene shrink wrap are most often used for heavier shrink wrapping applications. PVC and polyolefin shrink wrap are most often used within the retail packaging industry.
Aluminum Film Vacuum Packaging
Aluminum barrier material can be used as a packaging in combination with desiccants. After a product has been packed, the air is taken out and the desiccants will adsorb the remaining moisture.
Aluminum barrier foil has considerably lower water vapour transmission rate than bags made of LDPE or HDPE and reduces the required amount of desiccants in the export packaging.
